Walsin Lihwa, a leading stainless steel wire rod manufacturer in Taiwan, announced to raise the prices of its stainless steel wire rod products for July.

According to the announcement from Walsin Lihwa on June 28th, the price of 300 series would be increased by NT$3,000/ton, and of 316 series would be increased by NT$8,000/ton. For the series of 200 and 400, the prices would be increased by NT$1,500/ton and NT$1,000/ton, respectively.

Among them, the main reason for the price hiking was caused by the high uncertainty on the delivery time and price of raw material.
