Taiwan's welded steel pipe exports decline in Jun

According to Taiwan Customs statistics, Taiwan's welded steel pipe exports in June dropped to around 14,300 tons, falling by 47% compared to the previous month. Among them, exports to the US remained highest at about 8,600 tons, but plummeted by 57.8% month on month. The average export price to the US, however, increased compared to May.

In the first half of this year, Taiwan’s welded steel pipe exports amounted to approximately 184,200 tons, dropping by 10% compared to the same period last year. The US was the largest market, importing about 147,900 tons.

In terms of imports, the volume in June surged by 650% month on month, reaching 22,340 tons, of which India supplied the majority of nearly 19,100 tons.
