Tata Steel starts operation of automated steel service center

Tata Steel, a leading steel producer in India, announced that it has commissioned its first fully automated steel service center in Cuttack, Odisha, covering an area of 11 acres.

The steel service center was built in cooperation with Sagar Business Private Limited (SBPL), a distribution and solutions provider in the Indian steel industry.

The monthly production capacity of this service center is 3,000 tons. The automatic manufacturing facilities at this facility are equipped to produce customized cut & bend rebars, coupler threading, and welded wire mesh.
