Thailand launches AD sunset review on China’s cold-rolled stainless steel

On November 20, 2024, Thailand’s Department of Foreign Trade, Ministry of Commerce, announced the launch of the second sunset review of the anti-dumping (AD) duties on cold-rolled stainless steel in coils, sheets, and strips originating in China, following a request from POSCO-Thainox Public Company Limited that the termination of the existing AD measure will cause dumping and damage to continue or recur.

The AD duties will be collected in the form of a deposit during the review for a period not exceeding one year or until the result of the review is announced.

The products involved are under HS codes 72193200030, 72193200040, 72193300030, 72193300040, 72193400030, 72193400040, 72193500030, 72193500040, 72202010030, 72202010040, 72202090030, and 72202090040.
