The tariffs imposed by US President Donald Trump are expected to benefit an Ohio-based steel mill and its workers.

JSW Steel USA CEO, Robert Simon, stated in an interview that the mill is projected to increase its utilization rate over the next 12 months, from 68% to 84% or more in the coming years.

This growth is anticipated to boost demand for steel jobs at the Ohio plant, with a minimum of 100 new jobs expected to be created in the next year under Trump's tariff plan.
