Turkish authorities have finalized findings of an anti-dumping (AD) investigation on cold-rolled stainless flat steel imports from China and Indonesia.

The investigation, covering the period from January 1, 2021, to December 31, 2023, was launched in June 2024 based on an application filed by POSCO Assan TST Çelik San. A.Ş. It concluded that Indonesian imports showed negligible dumping margins, but Chinese products faced calculated rates between 3.95% and 13.47%.

China and Indonesia represent the backbone of Turkey's stainless steel supply, accounting for nearly 70% of imports in the first ten months of this year. Although China’s market share eased slightly from 55% in 2024, its pricing remains a central concern for local producers.

The final AD duty rates, expected by December 28, 2025, will likely reshape domestic pricing and competitive dynamics for the coming year.
