Turkish crude steel output increased in May

According to the Turkish Iron and Steel Producers' Association (TCUD), Turkey produced roughly 3.2 million tons of crude steel in May, soaring by 42.4% from the same month last year.

In the first five months, Turkey produced about 16.4 million tons of crude steel, rising by 21.2% from the same period a year ago. During this period, Turkey ranked 8th in the world crude steel output.
