Turkish crude steel output increases in Nov 2020

According to the Turkish Iron and Steel Producers' Association (TCUD), Turkey produced roughly 3.2 million tons of crude steel in November 2020, increasing by 11.6% from the same month a year ago.

From January to November, Turkey produced about 32.4 million tons of crude steel, going up by 4.9% from the same period a year ago.

Besides, Turkey exported approximately 1.5 million tons and imported 1.2 million tons of steel products during the period, hiking by 25% and 23.1% year on year, respectively.

In the first eleven months of 2020, Turkey exported about 14.8 million tons of steel products, decreasing by 7.8% year on year, and the imports were 11.5 million tons, up by 9.5% year on year.
