Turkish steel product import value goes up in Sep

According to the Turkish Statistical Institute (TUIK), the Turkish steel product import value was roughly US$1.4 billion in September, going up by 3.8% year on year. Turkey exported about US$731 million of steel products, decreasing by 8.9% year on year.

In the first nine months of 2020, Turkey imported about US$11 billion and exported around US$6.2 billion of steel products, declining by 4.7% and falling by 20.9% from the same period a year ago, respectively.
