Ukraine reports growth in Jan-May aluminum imports & exports

Ukraine's aluminum and aluminum product import value reached around US$206.6 million in the first five months of this year, a 20.2% increase compared to the corresponding period a year ago. In May alone, the import value totaled US$40.34 million.
In terms of exports, during this five-month period, aluminum export value grew by 31.9% to US$57.76 million. The value of May's exports was US$12.7 million.
In the full year 2024, Ukraine's aluminum imports were about US$446 million, a year-on-year hike of 21.7%. Exports in 2024 reached US$124.4 million, up by 27.4%.
