The UK’s Trade Remedies Authority (TRA) initiated a reconsideration of its recommendation for anti-dumping (AD) measures on imports of aluminum extrusions from China.

After finishing the reconsideration process, the TRA will make a decision to maintain or change its recommendation and will notify the Secretary of State for Business and Trade.

This initiation of the reconsideration of the TRA’s recommendation was at a request submitted by a UK producer. This producer provided the TRA with new industry information that could affect the TRA’s original findings, claiming that the dumping duties imposed don’t accurately reflect levels of harmful dumping and that the AD measure should not exclude large aluminum extrusions.
