US’ aluminum imports drop in Dec 2020

According to statistics from the US International Trade Commission (USITC), the US imported around 230,000 tons of primary aluminum in December 2020, which dropped by 27% compared to the same month a year ago.

In 2020, the US’ primary aluminum imports amounted to approximately 3.3 million tons, decreasing by 13.8% year on year.
