US’ cold finished steel bar exports hike in Apr

According to statistics from the US Department of Commerce (USDOC), the US exported around 11,100 tons of cold finished steel bar in April, growing by 2.8% compared to the previous month and also hiking by 105.8% from the same month a year ago.

Among them, the exports to Canada accounted for the largest proportion, totaling roughly 5,300 tons, a month-on-month decrease of 6.15% and a year-on-year hike of 203.6%. Mexico ranked second with approximately 4,400 tons, and the exports to other countries were less than 1,000 tons.

During the period, the export value totaled US$25 million, up by 4.6% month on month and 74.8% year on year.
