It was reported that the US steelmakers' price increasing strategy in early May made US' cold-rolled and galvanized coil prices rebound after the two-month price decline.

According to statistics, the price of US cold-rolled coil has increased by 4% and galvanized coil was up by nearly 6%.

Since many states gradually loosened the lockdown measures, automobile manufacturers planned to resume production in May.

Moreover, the price increase strategy simulated market demand. However, buyers believed that it was difficult to predict that if cold-rolled and galvanized coil prices will remain increasing before automobile sales recovery.
