US’ HRC exports fall in Nov 2020

According to statistics from the US Department of Commerce (USDOC), the US exported nearly 60,000 tons of hot-rolled coil (HRC) in November 2020, sliding by 33.2% compared to the previous month while rising by 45.2% from the same month in 2019.

Among them, the exports to Mexico accounted for the largest proportion, totaling roughly 48,281 tons, a month-on-month decrease of 35.7% and a year-on-year increase of 58.2%. Canada ranked second with roughly 11,500 tons, and the exports to other countries were less than 1,000 tons.
