US initiates first AD & CVD sunset review on welded line pipes from 2 countries

The US International Trade Commission (USITC) has initiated the first sunset review of countervailing duty (CVD) on welded line pipe imports from Turkey and the first anti-dumping (AD) sunset review on the same products originating in Turkey and South Korea.

The five-year review was to determine if the cancellation of the existing AD and CVD order on the subject goods from the above-mentioned countries would lead to the continuation or recurrence of material injury on the US domestic industry within a reasonably foreseeable time.
