The US International Trade Commission (USITC) gave a notice of the institution of anti-dumping (AD) and countervailing duty (CVD) investigations on imports of aluminum extrusions from China, Colombia, the Dominican Republic, Ecuador, India, Indonesia, Italy, Malaysia, Mexico, South Korea, Taiwan, Thailand, Turkey, the UAE, and Vietnam, to determine whether the US industry is materially injured by the allegedly dumped products.

The investigations were launched based on a petition filed by the U.S. Aluminum Extruders Coalition and the United Steelworkers (USW) on October 4, 2023.
