After the US Department of Commerce (USDOC)'s first five-year anti-dumping review finalized against oil country tubular goods (OCTG), it was decided to impose anti-dumping duties on the products from Ukraine continuously.

The US companies who filed the petition for this investigation are Benteler Steel, Boomerang Tube, Maverick Tube, United States Steel Corporation, Tenaris Bay City, Inc, Vallourec Star, IPSCO Tubulars Inc. and Welded Tube USA Inc.

The USDOC mentioned that if the anti-dumping tariffs on Ukraine were canceled, Ukrainian OCTG will once again cause harm to the US market.

The previous dumping of Ukrainian OCTG to the US was 7.47%, of which Ukrainian manufacturers listed were Interpipe Europe SA, Interpipe Ukraine LLC, PJSC Interpipe Niznedneprovsky Tube Rolling Plant and LLC Interpipe Niko Tube.

In addition, it was understood that Ukrainian OCTG products, semi-finished products or couplings, whether seamless or welded, or whether they have OPEC licenses, will be subject to anti-dumping tariffs. However, the tariffs were excluded casing or tubing containing 10.5% or more by weight of chromium, drill pipe, unattached couplings and thread protectors.
