US makes preliminarily ruling to impose CVD on aluminum sheets from 4 countries

According to the preliminary ruling on made by the US Department of Commerce (USDOC) on August 10, the USDOC found that the exporters of common alloy aluminum sheet from Bahrain, Brazil, India, and Turkey received countervailable subsidies from governments, so the USDOC will instruct the US Customs and Border Protection (CBP) to collect cash deposits from the importers of these products from the four countries.

The preliminary subsidy rate for Bahrain, Brazil, India, and Turkey is 9.49%, 0.76%- 1.32%, 4.55%-34.84%, and 0.07%-3.15%, respectively.
