The US Department of Commerce (USDOC) preliminarily confirmed that Mexican alloy steel wire rods (wire rods) were sold at prices lower than normal value during the investigation period from October 1, 2022 to September 30, 2023.

The USDOC initially identified nine companies for review and concluded seven companies were not for individual examination. The two selected mandatory respondents are TA 2000 S.A. de C.V. and Deacero S.A.P.I. de C.V., which received weighted average dumping margins of 18.09% and 13.46%, respectively.

The USDOC is expected to release the final results of this administrative review before March 12, 2025.
