The US exported around 19,500 tons of oil country tubular goods (OCTG) in February, according to statistics from the US Department of Commerce (USDOC). The figure represented a 12.6% decrease from the previous month and an 8.6% drop compared to the same month a year ago.
Canada remained the top destination for US’ OCTG in February, receiving around 16,200 tons, down by 16.2% month on month while up by 15.4% year on year. Mexico was the second-largest destination, importing around 1,400 tons of US OCTG in February.
In terms of value, the US exported US$33.7 million worth of OCTG in February, down by 10.6% month on month and by 26% year on year.
