US’ primary aluminum production drops in Jun

According to statistics, the US’ primary aluminum production totaled around 90,000 tons in June, dropping by 2.8% compared to the same month a year ago.

As of the end of June, the US’ expected annual production capacity of primary aluminum was roughly 1.1 million tons, a year-on-year decrease of 2.8% and a month-on-month drop of 3.4%.

In the first six months of this year, the US’ expected annual production capacity of primary aluminum was approximately 1.12 million tons, sliding by 2.0% compared to the same period a year earlier.
