US’ primary aluminum production drops in Mar

According to statistics from the US Geological Survey, the US produced 75,000 tons of primary aluminum this March, with a daily average output of 2,410 tons, dropping by 3% compared to the previous month and also reducing by 21% from the same month in 2020.
During the reporting period, the aluminum output recycled from aluminum scrap was 272,000 tons, hiking by 10% month on month while slightly dropping year on year.
Among them, 155,000 tons were recycled from new aluminum scrap and 117,000 tons were from old aluminum scrap.
