US’ standard pipe imports increased from June

Among them, the imports from Canada accounted for the largest proportion, totaling roughly 13,500 tons. Other import sources included the UAE (around 10,100 tons), South Korea (around 7,740 tons), Mexico (around 4,500 tons), and Vietnam (around 4,500 tons).

According to the final Census Bureau data from the US Department of Commerce (USDOC), the US imported around 53,700 tons of standard pipes in June, rising by 8.7% compared to the previous month and also hiking by nearly 7% from the same month a year earlier.

During the period, the import value totaled roughly US$66 million, up by 12.5% month on month and 40.1% year on year.
