US’ standard pipe imports reduce in Oct

According to the final Census Bureau data from the US Department of Commerce (USDOC), the US imported roughly 35,200 tons of standard pipes in October, reducing by 21% compared to the previous month and also dropping by nearly 27% from the same month a year ago.

Among them, the imports from Canada accounted for the largest proportion, totaling approximately 10,900 tons, a month-on-month decrease of 2.53% and a year-on-year reduction of 23.5%. Other import sources included the UAE (around 5,200 tons), South Korea (around 4,400 tons), Vietnam (around 4,300 tons), and Oman (around 2,900 tons).
