US' steel imports in Apr may lower than previous month

According to the official report from the US, the total permit application of steel import this April were around 3 million net tons, decreased from last months’ 3.4 million tons, but higher than the final imports of steel (1.75 million tons) in March.

Among them, the permit tonnage of finished steel in the US this April was around 1.3 million tons, decreased by 13% from the final imports in March.

Moreover, the top 3 main steel supplied countries in April of the US should be South Korea, Brazil, and Japan.
