Vale’s iron ore exports drop in H1 2020

According to the data provided by the Brazilian mining association Sinferbase, this year in June, the monthly iron ore export of Vale, the famous Brazilian mining enterprise, was calculated to be 24.53 million tons, a 27% increase to compare with the figure of May.

During the first half of 2020, the iron ore exports of Vale fell by 9.5% and were calculated as roughly 114.5 million tons. In June, Vale has sold a total of 1.14 million tons of iron ore in the domestic market, a 3.5% fall compared with the same period of the previous year.

During the first 6 months of 2020, Vale sold a total of 7.23 million tons of iron ore in the domestic market, a decrease of 7.2% year on year.
