Vale’s iron ore exports grow in Nov

According to statistics from Brazil iron ore and base metals association Sinferbase, Vale S.A. (Vale), a Brazilian multinational corporation engaged in metals and mining, exported around 23.8 million tons of iron ore in November, sliding by 9.7% compared to the previous month while growing by 2.2% from the same month a year ago.

In the first 11 months of this year, the exports amounted to approximately 245.6 million tons, a year-on-year decrease of 3.6%.

As for the sales volume, Vale sold around 1.47 million tons of iron ore in November, hiking by 10.5% from last month and 8% from the same month of last year. The sales volume from January to November totaled roughly 13.8 million tons, declining by nearly 6% year on year.
