Vedanta, a natural resources company in India, reported that its output of saleable iron ore in Karnataka totaled 1.4 million tons in the fourth quarter of the fiscal year 2022, rising by 18% compared to the same period a year ago.

In the whole year, Vedanta’s annual iron ore output from Karnataka mines amounted to 5.4 million tons, a year-on-year increase of 8%.

The mining operations and production in Goa are still suspended due to the Supreme Court judgment on February 7, 2018, and the company continues to negotiate with the government for mining operations’ resumption.
