Vietnam’s steel exports increase in Jan-Apr

According to statistics from the Vietnamese General Department of Customs (GDC), Vietnam’s steel exports totaled around 1.02 million tons in April, reducing by 17% compared to the previous month. Among them, the exports to China had a year-on-year increase of 82.5% to roughly 321,000 tons.

In the first four months of this year, Vietnam exported approximately 3.9 million tons of steel, hiking by 50.4% year on year. Among them, the exports to China accounted for around 893,000 tons, a year-on-year increase of 86.4%.
