With strong nickel price Stainless steel market turns hot

The stainless steel futures price has been stimulated by the strong nickel price, the stainless steel futures closing price on September 9th came to around RMB 19,465/ton.
According to the latest price of nickel on the London Metal Exchange (LME), the nickel 3-month price touched US$20,145/ton on September 9th, which was also the highest point since 2014.
For the future demand, most of the market participants believed the easing car chip shortage situation might further support stainless steel prices for the next half of this year.
