Yieh Hsing Enterprise Co., Ltd., one of the major wire rod manufacturers in Taiwan, raised the price for stainless steel wire rods for February due to higher production costs.

The company said the decision to increase prices was due to higher electricity rate.

According to the price adjustment, the price of 304 stainless steel wire rods was up by NT$1,500/ton. Also, the surcharge for 316 products was raised by NT$1,500/ton, and the price of the 200 and 400 series remained unchanged.
