Yieh Hsing Enterprise Co., Ltd., a major wire rod manufacturer in Taiwan, signed a five-year joint credit agreement with eight financial institutions for NT$2.5 billion to support its Pingnan factory expansion plan. The expansion of the Pingnan factory was expected to be completed and put into production by the end of this year.

Yieh Hsing planned an investment of NT$1.272 billion for the expansion of its Pingnan plant due to the optimistic outlook of demand from the downstream screw and nut industry, and 5G and semiconductor components. The project was expected to raise the annual production capacity by 150,000 tons to 450,000 tons.

In addition to capacity expansion and production speed acceleration, the new factory will also expand the available sizes and precision of products, as well as add steel types for refining, such as carbon steel and stainless steel.
