Africa & Asia’s alumina output grows in Oct

According to statistics released by the International Aluminum Institute (IAI), the alumina production in Africa and Asia, excluding China, totaled around 1.18 million tons in October this year, hiking by 6% compared to the previous month and by 8.35% from the same month a year ago.

The average daily output in October was 38,100 tons, increasing by 2,900 tons year on year.

In the first ten months of this year, the alumina production in the regions amounted to approximately 11.53 million tons, a year-on-year growth of 5.87%.
