It was reported that Alcoa of Australia Limited has signed gas sales agreements (GSA) with three companies, Chevron Australia, Warrego Energy, and ExxonMobil, which will supply 198 PJ of gas to Alcoa’s Western Australia alumina refineries from January 2024.

Coupled with the current gas supply contract, the total gas can let Alcoa's three alumina refineries in Western Australia maintain their operations for more than ten years.
