Alcoa’s share price rises by 95% on investors’ interest

It was reported that Alcoa’s share price rose by 95% over the past three weeks as this top aluminum firm on the New York Stock Exchange (NYSE) has attracted investors’ interest.

Due to the economic recovery after the COVID-19 lockdowns, Alcoa’s share price climbed from US$6.66 on May 15 to last sales of US$12.98, and the aluminum price on the London Metal Exchange (LME) also hiked to 71 cents/lb from roughly 64.5 cents/lb.
