Aleastur, a leading European metal producer, announced that it has launched the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC)’s first aluminum grain refiners and master alloys production hub in Bahrain.

It will cost US$15 million to set up this plant, which is Aleastur’s first overseas facility. The plant will produce high-quality aluminum alloys used for different purposes for various industries in the global markets.

Around 85% of the facility’s annual production will be exported to regional players in the industry, including aluminum smelters and cast-houses.

With the increase in exports, the revenue of this new facility was expected to reach nearly US$53 million by 2025.
