According to Aluminum Corporation of China Limited (Chalco), the overall alumina production has increased this year, but the entire supply and demand situation is still in a relaxed balance.
Due to the decrease in alumina production costs, the recent price of alumina has declined. With the future continuously released primary aluminum capacity in Yunnan, alumina prices were expected to be supported to a certain extent.
