Aluminium Association of India appeals to Coal India for supply resumption

Aluminium Association of India called on Coal India Ltd. to immediately resume the coal supply to India’s aluminum companies due to the current severe shortage of thermal coal, which has started to reduce the local aluminum industry’s operating loads.
Coal India Ltd. announced earlier to lower the coal supply to the non-power sector so as to increase supplies to the power sector.
