Global primary aluminum production decreases in Aug

According to statistics released by the International Aluminum Institute (IAI), the global primary aluminum production amounted to 5.699 million tons in August this year, compared to the revised 5.733 million tons in the previous month.
IAI reported that China’s primary aluminum production dropped to 3.299 million tons, compared to the revised 3.327 million tons in July.
