Aluminium Bahrain in process of refinancing

Aluminium Bahrain (Alba), the world's largest aluminum smelter ex-China, said in a statement that it is now in the process to refinance its syndicated commercial loan facility of US$1,247,475,000 and will issue more details at the appropriate time.

Alba started its smelter with an annual production capacity of 120,000 tons in 1971, and it had ability to produce more than 1.56 million tons of aluminum in 2021.
