Earlier this week, Aluminium Bahrain B.S.C. (Alba), one of the largest industrial companies in the Middle East, signed an agreement with Bahrain Petroleum Company (Bapco) to cooperate on various Environment, Social, and Governance (ESG) initiatives.

This agreement was considered an important step to reach the kingdom’s overall sustainability goals.

Alba and Bapco are the largest companies in Bahrain, and they aimed to realize Bahrain's net-zero emissions by 2060.

Previously, there was no such agreement between such firms in this region.
