Argentina’s crude steel production hikes in May

According to data from the Argentinian steel association, Cámara Argentina de Acero (CAA), Argentina produced around 391,000 tons of crude steel in May this year, hiking by nearly 13% compared to the previous month and also rising by 101.3% from the same month a year earlier.

In the first five months of this year, the production of Argentina’s crude steel amounted to 1.86 million tons, a year-on-year increase of 51.5%.
