Asian Steel Group Aluminum, a leading manufacturer of aluminum products in China, reported its output of aluminum sheet, strip, and foil totaled 97,400 tons in August this year, falling by 2% compared to the year-ago period. The output of aluminum profiles had a year-on-year increase of 57% to 2,200 tons.

During the period, the sales volume of aluminum sheet, strip, and foil reached roughly 93,000 tons, a year-on-year decrease of 7%; that of aluminum profiles had a year-on-year increase of 47% to 2,200 tons.
