Asian Steel Group develops new high corrosion resistant 400 series products

Asian Steel Group. (ASG), a leading stainless steel mill, is optimistic about the domestic construction market and is developing new nickel-free 400 series stainless steel products, aiming at the market of industrial plants, solar panels, and construction materials. This new stainless steel was expected to gradually become another core product of ASG.
According to ASG, this new 400 series product has a characteristic of high corrosion resistance. It replaces nickel with chrome and molybdenum, which can avoid the nickel price affecting stainless steel prices.
The products are likely to be more competitive than the nickel-containing 304 and 316. They will be gradually widely used in the market, especially buildings near the seaside.
