Ataco Steel Products, a sheet metal fabricator in Cedarburg, Wis., has announced it will take delivery of a TRUMPF TruLaser 5030 fiber laser system in March. The 12-kW, solid-state machine offers high processing speed and reproducible part quality, even on complex contours.
The system can cut mild steel up to 30 mm thick and standard sheet sizes of 3,000 by 1,500 mm with a maximum weight of 1,800 kg for one pallet. Features include dynamic drives, high axis speeds, and a high degree of automation.
