The Australian Anti-Dumping Commission has recommended ending the anti-dumping (AD) duties on Vietnam's aluminum extrusions. An AD investigation into Vietnam's aluminum extrusions was launched in September last year following a petition by Australian aluminum producer Capral Limited.

The committee indicated that the evidence didn't support continued AD measures. While dumping may continue for some exporters, dumping had little impact on the Australian industry during the investigation.

Therefore, the committee recommended that the authorities cancel the 1.9% AD duty on aluminum extrusion imports from Vietnam since June 27.
