Australia initiates AD & CVD mid-term review on China’s aluminum extrusions

On August 8, 2022, the Australian Anti-Dumping Commission announced to initiate a mid-term review investigation of anti-dumping (AD) and countervailing duty (CVD) on China’s aluminum extrusions, following an application submitted by Capral Limited.

The period of review was from July 1, 2021 to June 30, 2022.

The products involved are under tariff codes 7604.10.00.06, 7604.21.00.07, 7604.21.00.08, 7604.29.00.09, 7604.29.00.10, 7608.10.00.09, 7608.20.00.10, 7610.10.00.12, and 7610.90.

The review covered all China’s exporters of subject goods except Guangdong Jiangsheng and Guangdong Zhongya.

The Australian Anti-Dumping Commission will be submitted the recommendation of the final determination to the Minister for Industry, Science and Technology by November 28, 2022.
