Australia launches AD & CVD sunset review on aluminum extrusions from China

On November 8, 2024, the Australian Anti-Dumping Commission announced the launch of a third anti-dumping (AD) and countervailing (CVD) duties sunset review investigation into aluminum extrusions imported from China, following a request from Australian company Capral Limited.

The investigation will examine the period from October 1, 2023, to September 30, 2024. The aluminum products involved are classified under Australian Customs codes, including 7604.10.00.06, 7604.21.00.07, 7604.21.00.08, 7604.29.00.09, 7604.29.00.10, 7608.10.00.09, 7608.20.00.10, 7610.10.00.12 and 7610.90.00.13.

The Commission aims to finalize its statement of essential facts (SEF) by February 26, 2025, and submit the final recommendation to the Minister for Industry, Science and Technology by April 12, 2025.
