Olympic Steel, Inc., a prominent national metals service center, announced the acquisition of Metal Works in an all-cash deal. The transaction is expected to be immediately accretive to Olympic Steel’s financial performance, though terms were not disclosed.

Metal Works, a leading manufacturer of components for service station canopies, boat docks, and solar canopies, specializes in coated carbon steel and aluminum products. Operating from two facilities in Oakwood, Georgia, Metal Works spans 48,720 square feet on 8.43 acres.

Metal Works will enhance Olympic Steel’s product and processing portfolio, with a focus on higher-return products to boost sales and reduce earnings volatility. The business will continue to operate under its current name.
